ABOUT US

NIKAN is a family-owned distillery, specializing in the production od apple and plum brandy, pear brandy, as well as, apple cider vinegar.
Eight decades of experience in fruit growing and the family tradition of rakija distillation were the main incentive and motive for the establishment of the distillery, in order to preserve the family heritage and pass it on to new generations.

Every process of our production – from the cultivation and hand-picking of the fruit, to the final product – is carried out with great precision, dedication and respect. Our brandy is produced by double distillation, during which the heads and tails are carefully removed, while the heart of the rakija is retained, allowing for a crystal clear and rich taste.

The rakija is matured in barrels made of Macedonian oak, which gives it additional depth and complexity of the aroma. The apple cider vinegar, on the other hand, is 100% natural and unfiltered, obtained with a traditional fermentation method.

Each of our products carries its own story – a story of love, skill and professionalism.
